Associate Degree in Islamic Studies
Gems of Light University offers a unique Daye'a Associates Degree in Islamic Studies Program. Our courses provide students with a Strong Foundation in the Islamic Sciences. Our program is particularly geared for Muslim Women giving them Revelant and Applicable Knowledge tailored specifically for them-As a woman, mother, daughter, sister, wife, etc.
Certificates
By completing the Gems of Light Arabic Program (I, II, and III) a student can earn an Arabic Foundational Certificate through Gems of Light. Our Instructors are highly qualified and committed to teaching Quranic Arabic for the purpose of understanding the Authentic Texts (Quran/Sunnah)
We also have an option to obtain a Certificate in Tajweed to enable students to teach Tajweed in their communities.
Transfer Opportunity
Gems of Light has partnered with The Islamic University of Minnesota enabling all credits/courses to be easily transferred so sisters can further their Education to pursue a B.A. in Islamic Studies. IUMN has several different Masters Degree options and for very dedicated students, PhD Programs.
Dawah Training
Gems of Light equips students with the knowledge and tools to enable sisters to be callers to Allah swt (daye'at). Whether you to choose to give dawah to non-muslims or muslims. Our program is the stepping stone for sisters around the world to embark in the footsteps of the Messenger of Allah. Never has there ever been a time of need for Dawah as now!
Community Based
Because we are all One Ummah and bonded through our love for Allah swt and His Messenger saws, our Gems of Light University Community is a place where sisters can not only learn Islam together, but form lasting life-long bonds for the sake of Allah swt. You will also get to know your Instructors at a more personal level.
